At Canmore Community Childcare, every family is a member of the Canmore Community Daycare Society. Your involvement helps us grow and thrive. 

Membership in the Society includes: 

• The opportunity to let your name stand for election to the Board 
• A shared responsibility to support the childcare community through volunteer participation 

As a not-for-profit organization, our strength comes from the active involvement of families. While we no longer require a set number of annual volunteer hours or a payment in place of those hours, we encourage all families to contribute when they are able. Volunteer opportunities are available for both daycare families and out-of-school care families. Please check the location of each job when signing up, as some are based at the daycare and others at Elizabeth Rummel School. 

Examples of volunteer opportunities include: 
Daycare 

• Refundable recycling pick-up from the Roundhouse 
• The garden
• Helping at fundraisers and special events 
• Field trips

 

Out-of-School Care 

• Laundry from Elizabeth Rummel School 
• Helping at fundraisers and special events
• Field trips
